Heather has a background in equity consulting, social work, and special education. She has worked and volunteered in the fields of racial and social justice, education, and child welfare for over 30 years. Heather received her Master’s in Social Work from Jane Addams at University of Illinois Chicago and her Master of Arts in Special Education from Northeastern Illinois University.
